He received his doctoral degree from the Department of Mathematics, University of Science and Technology of China in 2003. From 2003 to 2005, he conducted postdoctoral research at the College of Computer Science, Zhejiang University. He worked at the School of Computer Science, Southeast University from 2005 to 2017. In 2017, he joined the State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves, School of Information Science and Engineering, Southeast University.
His research covers interdisciplinary fields including computational mathematics, electromagnetic computation, and computer graphics.
He has presided over and participated in numerous national and provincial research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, General Equipment Pre-research Projects, Fundamental Defense Scientific Research Projects, Naval Equipment Pre-research Projects, and Aeronautical Science Foundation Projects. He has provided electromagnetic computation and simulation services for research institutions of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China Electronics Corporation, and Aviation Industry Corporation of China.He has independently developed two copyrighted numerical simulation software, Electromagnetic Scattering Calculation Software (EMSC) and Electromagnetic Radiation Calculation Software (EMRC).
He has published multiple papers in renowned journals such as CAGD and Science China. He currently serves as a reviewer for Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and is a member of the Intelligent CAD & Digital Art Committee of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, as well as a member of the Electromagnetic Technology Committee of China Ordnance Society.
