    Hao Chen, Zhishan Postdoctoral Fellow at Southeast University. Born in November 1993, he received his bachelor’s degree from Dalian Maritime University and his doctoral degree through the direct PhD program at Southeast University. He was awarded his Doctor of Engineering degree in 2020, under the supervision of Professor Weibing Lu. 

     Since 2021, he has worked in the same research group and currently serves as a Zhishan Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Researcher. Taking up his current position, he has presided over one Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one JKW Equipment & Technology Project, one technical development project, and one General Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has also been funded by the Outstanding Postdoctoral Program of Jiangsu Province, the National Postdoctoral Support Program (Tier B), and the Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Program of Southeast University. In addition, he has participated in a number of research projects hosted by his supervisor. 

    By the end of 2025, he has published more than 40 SCI papers. Among them, he has authored 12 SCI papers as the first author in high-level journals including Advanced Energy Materials, ACS Photonics, IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, and IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques. He has also co-authored one academic monograph with his supervisor. He has supervised undergraduate students to publish multiple EI-indexed papers and deliver oral presentations at international conferences.

  His research interests mainly focus on flexible wearable electromagnetic devices, applications of electromagnetic metamaterials, and electromagnetic applications of novel two-dimensional materials.
